The 2019 Writers’ Guild conference, Writing Across Worlds, explored themes across literary works that cross forms, genres, and cultures, as well as how storytelling is crossing into new realms—from the digital sphere to the sleeves of our coffee cups—and into the psychological space of our daily routines.
In 2019 I had the pleasure of working with the Writers’ Guild of Alberta. I was tasked with creating their annual writers’ conference branding and promotional materials. This was genuinely one of the funnest projects I’ve worked on and I sincerely thank the Writers’ Guild for trusting me with their conference materials.
The concept and title of the event this year is “Writing Across Worlds.” This project makes use of imagery that invokes the northern lights.
The northern lights connects land and space.— Ellen Kartz of the Writers’ Guild of Alberta
